We offer annual maintenance agreements to keep your equipment working in factory fresh condition. Energy costs continue to rise. Having us maintain your equipment will lower your utility bills – clean equipment operates more efficiently than dirty equipment. Maintaining your equipment will also help it last longer.
When you purchase a new piece of equipment, buying a quality name brand item is an important part of the purchasing decision. A professional installation is just as important as the quality of the product. When people buy a “top of the line” furnace they expect a top of the line installation. This is not always the case. A quality installation will give you better performance and longer life with fewer problems than an equal furnace with an inferior installation. At Schmidt Heating and Cooling we pride ourselves on doing things right – the first time – so that our customers are comfortable and happy.
New high efficiency furnaces can be as efficient as 96% AFUE, which means they will burn 96% of the natural gas used to keep you home comfortable and exhaust on 4% of the energy out of you home. Older furnaces when purchased 20 to 30 years ago will only be 50% or 60% efficient. Let our trained sales people show you how quickly a new heating system can pay for itself.
New high efficiency air conditioners and heat pumps can be as efficient as 21 SEER, as a homeowner what you need to know about SEER ratings is the higher the SEER the more efficient the system. Older air conditioners and heat pumps installed 15 to 20 years ago will only have a rating of 6 SEER or 8 SEER. So when comparing the different ratings, our systems will have a minimum of 13 SEER, no matter which system you purchase you will have a more efficient system than your older system. If your old system is only 6 SEER, a new 13 SEER system will lower your operating cost by 50%! Let our sales staff show you how upgrading your system makes financial sense.
If you invest in your home comfort system and we can show you how to you can save 50%, we don’t think you can invest anywhere else in this economy that will return 50% on your investment.
Schmidt Heating and Cooling can test the air in your home and provide you with a report measuring air particulants, VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds), CO (Carbon Monoxide), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), temperature and humidity. This report will help you make an informed decision about where you can improve your indoor air quality. The test requires the device be in you home for at least 48 hours and can be scheduled at your convenience.
